I switched to NJM a few years ago when Progressive was robbing me of my money. NJM charged me over 150.00 cheaper per month. When I lost my car in Hurricane Ida, they were good about keeping in touch with me and sending my check out timely so I was able to buy my car. They take my payment out monthly and send a letter to remind me every month. It's quick, it's easy and it's a pleasure doing business with NJM. I've always gotten nice people on the phone too when I call. They have great customer service. If you need an affordable insurance company who is our for your best interest, call NJM.

Worst experience ever. Not only did it take about 5 months to schedule an appointment to get my car repair, but they also failed to provide a rental car on the drop off date for my car to get repair, even after I provided a month in advance the date for my car to get repairs like they said I should, so that they could provide a rental car. The person handling my claim failed to communicate and every time I would call, she was never available. I even called the office and was told that she was in the office but for someone reason was not answering. Then they decided to transfer me to her supervisor only to find out that she was not available either. At this point I was just frustrated with the whole process with this insurance company. NEVER AGAIN.

The five stars are for the breathtaking landscapes. I ventured to pick up my girlfriend from NJM. While waiting outside, I couldn't help but immerse myself in the sheer beauty of the natural surroundings. The building was nestled amidst sprawling acres of stunning landscapes, a sight that filled my heart with immense appreciation and love. I marveled at the meticulous care bestowed upon the grounds, a testament to the invaluable efforts of the dedicated groundskeepers. Not a single thing was out of place, and the absence of litter was a testament to the pristine condition of the area. The vibrant flowers adorned the scenery, adding an extra touch of splendor. Moreover, the fact that it was a smoke-free environment further enhanced the tranquil atmosphere. For those blissful 30 minutes while awaiting her arrival, I found myself transported to a paradise unlike any other. Namaste

Recently was involved in an auto accident where law enforcement instructed me to fill out a form online. I provided this information to the team at NJM. I reached out to follow up on the process of being reimbursed for my deductible only to be told we are still waiting for the police report. I informed the team that I provided the confirmation number from NJDOT about the report I filled out and that the officers said a report would be completed in 3-5 days it’s been approximately 3 weeks to find out the team has not followed up on the report and informed me they are unsure if I would be reimbursed. On top of this I was instructed to update the agent processing my claim when the car is done. I was unaware I worked for NJM that I need to update not only myself but their staff as well. I am regretting leaving my old insurance company. They may have been pricey but the quality of service was there. Very disappointed with my first claim with this company. And I am sure they will raise my rates even though the accident was not caused by me. Please shop around before jumping with both feet in.

Get this insurance if you want to pay on top of your deductible at the shop you pick to have your car worked on at. NJM will come with a number that low balls every single body shop in your area, will not negotiate and if it's lower than what it costs to fix your car you are responsible for the rest... Missed part of my estimate and my representative told me to contact the shop and have it redone. Stay away, far far away

They've been good with Auto but absolutely atrocious with homeowners, stay clear of NJM. We had a hail storm a few months ago which did significant damage and NJM is denying claims to everyone in our neighborhood meanwhile all other people I spoke with who have a different insurance company have had their claims approved. My shingles and metal on roof have dings all over, I had several inch long pieces of shingles break off and was in my front yard and I even had a 1 foot piece of my window framing break off and that too wasn't covered. Don't get NJM for homeowners insurance.
